Description
“Gollum” is a mixed two-pitch route of about 80 m, located in the Vasilopoulos sector. It follows a vertical slab with delicate balance moves and small positive holds, typical of the compact limestone of the area. The route has one fixed bolt, while the rest of the protection relies on friends and nuts, giving it a semi-trad character. The belays are set on natural features, offering secure and comfortable stances.
Climbing is continuous and exposed, with excellent rock quality throughout and a beautiful view over the Gulf of Patras. The route requires experience with natural protection and precision on technical slab climbing.
