The “Aristera” Sector of Varasova
The “Aristera” sector lies on the western side of Mount Varasova and is one of the most popular and accessible climbing areas of the mountain. The limestone here is of excellent quality, offering large slabs and beautiful cracks that create enjoyable and technical routes. Access is relatively easy, and the view over the Patraic Gulf and the Evinos River is truly stunning. “Aristera” harmoniously blends natural beauty, climbing challenge, and tranquility, making it an ideal introduction to the spirit of Varasova.

The routes in this area are not equipped with bolts or belay stations.
Climbers must ascend using their own protection and at their own discretion.
During descent, they should collect any pitons or gear (such as carabiners or rings) they have used.
