The “Rubicon” Sector of Varasova

The “Rubicon” sector is one of the newest and most impressive climbing areas of Mount Varasova. Its name, inspired by the historic Roman river, symbolizes the point of no return — perfectly reflecting the character of its routes: intense, demanding, and full of energy.

The limestone is of superb quality, featuring steep faces, dynamic movements, and powerful overhangs. The routes of Rubicon showcase a modern climbing style — athletic, flowing, and bold — ideal for strong and experienced climbers. The setting offers an amazing view of the sea, blending strength and serenity in one breathtaking scene.

Rubicon is more than just a sector; it is a challenge, a frontier — a place where every climber is invited to cross their own personal boundary.
