Description
“Liangou–Xanthopoulou” is a traditional multi-pitch route, about 220 m long and divided into six pitches, following a natural ramp and crack system in the central section of the Rubicon sector. It is one of the oldest classic routes of Varasova, opened in a purely traditional style, without any fixed protections.
The climbing is around 5a, with some small technical moves and steady, enjoyable progression on solid limestone. Belays are built on natural features (trees or rock spikes), and the rock offers many possibilities for nuts and friends. The route has moderate exposure and beautiful views, making it ideal for those seeking a classic multi-pitch experience in a safe and traditional setting.
