Description
“Voskopoula” was opened in October 1997 by A. Theodoropoulos and N. Chatzi.
It is a moderate-difficulty, well-protected route, notable for the sharp limestone of its first pitch and its pleasant, sustained climbing throughout.
Pitch 1 (8 bolts): starts on the pillar left and slightly lower than “Pyrgos”, following a sharp, compact slab to a small ledge with a comfortable belay.
Pitch 2 (7 bolts): climbs a slab, crosses Pyrgos, and continues into a vertical crack/dihedral that leads to a shared belay with Pyrgos.
Pitch 3 (7 bolts): the most demanding and interesting, leaving the shared belay directly upward through a steep section (VI+) on rock that looks loose but is solid, with continuous movement (V+ to VI+) and aesthetic climbing.
Descent: 3 abseils (40 m, 35 m, 20 m) down the same route.
