The “Petalo” Sector of Varasova

The “Petalo” sector, located on the eastern side of Mount Varasova, stands out for its graceful curved shape — much like a horse’s hoof, from which it takes its name. The limestone is excellent, featuring natural lines, wide slabs, and smooth curves that offer a great variety of climbing styles and movements. Routes here emphasize precision, balance, and flow, making climbing both enjoyable and elegant.

The view toward the Evinos River and the surrounding valley is captivating, and the area radiates a sense of calm and natural energy. “Petalo” is perfect for those who wish to experience Varasova in a quieter yet equally impressive setting — a place where nature itself seems to have sculpted the ideal arc.
