Description
“Matrix” is a two-pitch sport route, 80 m in total, known for its continuous difficulty and dynamic sections. The line follows a vertical to slightly overhanging slab, with technical footwork and beautiful balance moves. The crux is on the first pitch (6b+), while the second is easier but more exposed, offering excellent views. The 25 bolts are dense and well placed, providing safety and flow throughout the climb. The rock is solid, featuring characteristic dark streaks (“black water” patterns) and natural holds that make the route both enjoyable and demanding.
Access
From Kryoneri, follow the path to the Firefly sector. “Matrix” is located on the left side of the crag, between “Dream of Release” and “Firefly.” The trail is clear and stable, with a short final uphill section to the base.
