Description
“Kyttarini” is a pure traditional route with no fixed protection or belay stations. It follows a natural crack and gently inclined slab, offering beautiful, technical climbing at a 5c level. Protection is made exclusively with friends and nuts, while belays are set on natural features or trees. The climbing is continuous, on solid rock, with good gear placement opportunities. An ideal line for those who want to experience classic trad climbing in Varasova with reasonable difficulty.
Access
Approach: Start from Kryoneri and follow the uphill path towards the African sector. “Kyttarini” is located low on the left side of the sector, next to “One Year After” and “Alan Steck.” The path is clear, uphill, with small rocky sections.
Approach time: 35 minutes
