Description
"Science Friction" is a sport multi-pitch of two pitches, with a total length of about 80m. It moves on vertical and slightly overhanging slab, with solid limestone and a very technical character. The first pitch (6c+) requires balance and strong footwork, while the second (7b) has intense cruxes in the middle and demands precision and composure. The bolts are well-placed, without excessive density, and the belays are comfortable but without rings. This is a classic route of Spider, demanding and aesthetic, for those who move comfortably at the 7th grade.
Access
From Kryoneri, follow the path towards the Spider sector; "Science Friction" is located in the upper central part of the cliff, left of "Pop Corn" and right of "Allergia". The path is uphill but solid, with a short final ramp at the base.
Approach time: 45 minutes

2 ropes 60m (or one 80m with attention on the rappel).
16–18 quickdraws.
1–2 slings or long quickdraws to avoid rope drag.
Helmet.
